Default Name that part!

When we purchased our C3, it came with a couple of extra doors and a box of parts. Some I can identify, some not so much. Would you please help me identify?

I know the high beams switch, but what are the 2 items to the right?

Folding top rear bow pin housing and pins; choke coil and cover; a set of points; rear bow lock for the underside of the deck lid.

The AIM shows everything but the point set.

Floor dimmer switch, driveshaft universal u bolts, thermostatic choke spring, the little ball stud thing (I don't think) is a Vette part. It's for a hatch strut mount. Convertible top pin latch male and female, rear. Vaccum T aftermarket.

about half that stuff is junk. tire weight, rusty bolts, broken window winder (must be a Ford part!) lol

Cmon...how about something difficult! Cheers. unckahal

The ball stud is where the accelerator cable attaches to a Q-Jet.

Radiator support with radiator cross-member. Front header bar (goes in front of the headlight openings along with the rear headlight support (don't know the official name for it). AC compressor. A couple of steering boxes. I see a water pump. A brake rotor (rear) Spare tire carrier reinforcement. Rear diff cross-member. An AIR pump (I think). Exhaust manifold. AC plenum box. Vacuum reservoir can. Parking brake cable. Fertilizer spreader.

You have what looks like a cast power steering pump pully right in the middle. If it single groove it's a small block of duel groove its for a big block.

I know the high beams switch, but what are the 2 items to the right?
The large chrome piece with the arrow shaped pin in it at the top of the page, is a 68 soft top rear bow pin housing and pin. The two pins next to it are the larger diameter 69-75 rear bow pins. To the far right is a rear leaf spring bushing washer.

In the center below the pins is a 65-70 choke spring, rod and cover (Q-Jet?). To the right of the choke is a wheel weight and to the left is a headlight dimmer switch. Directly below the choke is a set of points, and to the left of that are 3 alternator terminal boots. Below the wheel weight is a vacuum hose "T" for the wiper/headlight vacuum hose system, and the ball is for the accelerator cable attachment on the carb. I can't comment on the exact application for the bolts shown.

In addition to the items identified in your first picture, the three chrome lug nuts to the left in this picture, may be the stainless capped lug nuts used on some GM rally wheels. Or one may be a GM capped lug nut, and the other two just aftermarket chrome lug nuts. The U-bolts are for small block stub axle u-joints. The latch mechanism on the lower left is a 68-75 convertible rear pin latch mechanism, and to the right of that is a good 68 window crank, with a **** that looks like it came from a bright blue interior (or maybe green??), and a broken 68 window crank.

I know all these parts...intimately.

As far as value goes...That smog pump is worth the whole stack!
The manifold heat riser, if it works, is a nice piece. Turbo 350 tranny as well!

There is a corvette only junkyard about 2 miles from here...a great way to spend some hours.

**** rating = 7.5! lol

When I took off the rocker panel, this weather stripping fell out. Where did it come from?

I had a Mustang back in the day then I got a Camaro I remember opening the distributor door to set the points while the car was running my first time, I thought that was the coolest thing since sliced bread.
