Default For Sale: 411 HD Rear end with HD yokes, caps

I have a 68 411 for sale. No pitting on housing, Very little backlash, both side yokes are about .030 end play, No leaks. Has AT 2 23 68 stamped on pad. Rear cover casting date is B 12 68. Center section casting date is K 7 7. $500 plus shipping or pickup. Sprayed down with PB Blaster to keep it from rusting. Pictures below.

Hi

I could be interested.
Want to go from 3.70 to 4.11 due to the GM Viper T56 6 speed tranny, I installed. The 6th gear can only be used at 90 MPH now running at just 2000 RPM.
Does this tranny have a posi ? I somehow can't see the clutch pack.
Do you know how many Miles this rear end has ? Is the posi, if installed, still OK ? I think there is a torque check that can be done, isn't there ?
And is this a 4 series carrier, hence original 4.11 setup, not a aftermarket thicker 4.11 gear in a lower enfd carrier ?
Also I would like to know shipping cost to Seattle area , 98158.

It is a posi. Only posi had the springs. Don't know the actual mileage. The trailing arms that were with it had original everything. Never disassembled with riveted rotors so it can't be a lot of miles. Looks like a series 4 carrier, has the thick flange (see picture). Maybe someone else will chime in on that, and it has the heavy duty side yokes with caps. Shipping to Seattle will run about $100 (overweight). Will crate it well to travel to you. Can do Paypal. I bought this and haven't run it but it looks to be in real nice condition all the way around. Be nice to see it go back in a big block 68.

Hello

Yes, sorry. I require a bit more time because I might be able to get one locally ( from Germany just around the corner ).
If this deal falls through and yours is still available, I will knock on your door again.

Thanks a lot & brgds. Günther
