Re: FOR SALE: Vette Brakes Adjustable Strut Rods for 80-82 Vette (toy350)
Thanks for the reply. I didn't see the mileage you had listed. Duh! My 80 has a 73 rear end, and I looked in the Vette Brakes catalog. They show different part numbers for the 63-79 versus the 80-82. Do you happen to know the difference in the parts? I may try to inquire from VB&P.

Re: FOR SALE: Vette Brakes Adjustable Strut Rods for 80-82 Vette (toy350)
Toy350: What kind of bushings, if any are in the strut rods?
If you don't mind, am curious as to why you are selling after only 500 miles.
My OEM rods are worn, and the poly bushings are kind of loose in the rods and I'm out of adjustment at the camber bolts, so am interested in these rods you have, if they are still for sale.

Re: FOR SALE: Vette Brakes Adjustable Strut Rods for 80-82 Vette (john's '81 mouse)
I am selling the strut rods because I just sold the car. I had a bent strut rod, so I replaced them with these strut rods. The purchaser requested that I have the original strut rod straightened. I did so and now have these for sale.
Regarding the bushings, they are polyurethane and are included with the strut rods.
I also had several questions about whether they would fit a 1979, Vette Brakes told me that either the 79 or 80-82 strut rods have a 6 degree difference in angle (he didn't know which one it was) and that is why they are sold under separate part numbers. He said though 6 degrees did not seem like a lot so they might fit. I would not place reliance on that statement.
