Default '78 Pace Car Decals

Hello,
I am looking for the 1978 Pace Car Original Decal set. Not reproduction. My dad has a pace car, but no decals for it. Thank you.

I have one door decal original with part number on it and have both the flying wheel rear quarter panel decals original with part numbers. I also have the original boxes for all three. I had them sold, but have not heard from the buyer for over a week, so I am assuming he no longer wants them. I will also send you a pm. I am asking $150 plus shipping for all three.

As far as differences from original and reproduction, many reproductions are slightly different in size and quality. Of course, if you have any intentions of going NCRS, originals in original boxes are the only way to go. The door and rear quarter declas were not installed at the factory, so NCRS likes cars as they came from the factory. Decals uninstalled and in original boxes.

You might try the owner of Bud's Chevrolet in St. Mary's Ohio
He told me when I was redoing my Pace car that he had a lot of the original decals and such. That was about 3 years ago though that he told me that.

Age! Original would be brittle and not suitable for mounting...but perfect for NCRS judging due to originality.

I recently mounted an original decal and it came out perfect. Not brittle or anything. It obviously matters what type of condition the original decal is in. I have seen some that look brittle where each letter is almost wrinkled and others that lay nice and flat with no signs of abuse. The ones I mounted looked good and mounted great. One time I mounted an original decal and srewed it up and had to remove it. When removing it, the vinyl was still very flexible and peeled right off.
