K 19 12 AZ Date Code wheels
I have a matching pair of K19 12 AZ date code wheels. I believe the code would indicate December 1969. They had been in storage and need to be restored cosmetically. I'm asking $200 for the pair and located in central FL. PM me if interested.

12 69 would have been used on a 70's early car. The whole code would be K 1 9 12 ?? AZ. Good luck with sale. Pictures would help as well.

Thanks, you are right, they would be correct for an early 70 model car, but would work on any C-3 model. At this time I can only send photos through my phone, so will reply to a serious buyer and the price is negotiable.

If they are truly K 1 9 1 2 AZ, they would be January 2, 1969.
K is for Kelsey Hayes
1 is for the Romulus MI plant
9 would be 1969
1 would be January
2 would be the 2nd of the month
AZ would indicate 15 X 8 rally wheel

Thanks for the correction, they were spare wheels I was keeping for my 69 coupe, but never used. There seems to be plenty of interest in the date code, but not in the purchase. Even though these wheels have minor surface rust in a few areas and need to be restored, the pair are closely date coded and will be sold as a pair. Finding decent wheels with this date for the right project would be a super find IMO.
