Default So do you want to build a 600hp Big Block??

So do you want build a streetable 600hp big block chevy? I have almost everything you need to do this. Only things needed to complete the motor are pistons, valves, gaskets, and bearings. Here’s what is for sale:

Big Block Chevy 454 block bored .60 over with 4-bolt mains. Machined and ready to build.
ARP Main Studs with Windage Screen
GM Forged 427 crank std. size mains and rods, polished & ready to build
Milodon Oil Pan & High pressure, High Volume oil pump with pick-up
Crower Sportsman Rods 6.135 reconditioned & ready to build
Comp Cams Three piece front timing chain cover
Fluid Dampner front balancer and Flywheel
CSI Electric Water Pump
March Pulley System with March Billet Steering Power Steering Pump
MSD Alternator
Dart Pro 1 320 cfm Aluminum Heads CNC ported with new valve guides
Copper Head Gaskets
ARP Head Studs
Comp Cams Stud Girdle
Dart Cast Aluminum Valve Covers
Comp Cams Solid Roller Camshaft Part #11-773-8 (Lift int. .660, exh. .666)
Comp Cams Solid Roller Lifters & Push Rods
Valve seals, locks, & retainers included
Dart Intake CNC ported to heads, drilled for NOS fogger nozzels (but can be easly sealed with pipe plugs)
Chuck Nuytten 4150 Holley Carb built and matched for motor
MSD Billet Distributor with wires
K&N Air Filter
Hooker ceramic coated headers

This motor at .030 over with a solid camshaft made just under 600 hp on the dyno. At .060 over with the larger solid roller cam and the matched to motor carb should put it at 600 hp or a little over. I had this motor in my 72’ Corvette and with the NOS ran 9.90 @ 140 mph in the quarter mile. I tore the motor down about a year ago to rebuild, but have since got into snowmobile racing and that is the reason for the sale. If you are interested in the motor but don’t want to build it yourself I will build it for you. Just call and we could work out an arrangement for the completion.

I also have a seriously built THM-400 with a manual valve body, trans brake, and matched torque converter which was used with this motor for sale if interested.

$5500.00 o.b.o.

I know a guy "Elle88" that has a nice set of 11.5 to 1 TRW Forged Pistons, gas ported for nitrous .60 over 427 pistons that are perfect for this build. I have them and he needed a .70 over piston. I am about 60 miles away. I believe he would be willing to sell them.

Open to offers on the engine as a package. I will also sell the parts listed individually if I can't sell the whole package. Let me know what you'd like and I'll send you the prices. Thanks
