Default 1968 3919840 Big Block Chevy Heads

This is a pair of 3919840 BBC Rectangular Port Heads. They are dated L.21.7 & B.28.8

They came off my car. I am going to open chamber heads and do not need them anymore. They will need to be gone through.

They have not been ported.

It appears that they may have been shaved.

Feel free to email me for any questions or pictures.

$1200.00

Good price .

$1100.00

I guarantee these heads. They came off my running car a couple of months ago. The only thing I need is the valve springs.

Here is a picture of my car and how good the heads worked.

Looks like they worked pretty well. The intakes look a little sunk though. Are you running 2.19 intake valves? Are you running these on a 454? You are going to lose a lot of compression, are you changing the pistons too? Also what size/offset rear wheel and tire are you running? Looks like N50 15s?

Tom, I believe these heads have the original valves and seats although I didn't check yet. I think they are sunk in because they were not set up for unleaded gas??? As stated in the original post...they need to be gone through/rebuilt.

The motor is a 396 .060 over with 12 1/2:1 slugs which I didn't find out until I took it apart. I'm still undecided on what motor I am going to use. This one needs to be bored to .070 so I am contemplating putting a 427 for it since the cost is about the same.

The wheels are original Ansen Torque Thrusts. 14X6 front and 14X7 rear. F70-14 and L60-14 respectfully.

Hi

Don't go too low with the price.
Use E-Bay with a reserve if they don't sell here.
I bought a couple of those for 1500 , a bit older to match my car, awaiting delivery.

Thanks for the advice. I figure I am close to what they are "really" worth but I would like to sell them to keep on going with the rebuild of the motor for my car.
