Big Block Chevy forged, crank, pistons, 7/16 Dimple rods
396/427 Std –Std 6223 Forged steel crank
I have a std std 396/427 (6223) forged steel crank that is in very nice condition.

Big Block Chevy forged pistons and 7/16 Dimple rods
I have a set of eight big block Chevy factory hi-performance forged GM TRW pistons and 7/16 dimple rods. The rings and bearings are new.
GM Pistons 3888304 std Compression would be between 11.2 and 11.5 depending on chamber size, quench, gasket thickness, etc... That is with Closed chambers of 108 to 110 cc. Dome is about 23 cc. With a set of set of factory open chamber heads it will drop your compression by about 1.3. So you would wind up with a very friendly 9.8 to 1. LS6/LS7/L88/ L-72.
