Default WTB Reedman Chevrolet Emblem

Does anyone have a metal Reedman Chevrolet emblem that was installed by the dealership in the 60's or 70's. It's silver silver/chrome and states Reedman Chevrolet Langhorne, PA

Thanks.

I saw your post on the NCRS TDB. I commented, too. Good idea to post here and I might follow up by finding an original dealer script for my 1970. It was sold in San Antonio, Texas and there were two dealerships there in the late '60s and early '70s. Just don't know which one as their records don't go back that far.
If you reside near Langhorne, PA or know someone there you might check out the salvage yards that haven't crushed the older vehicles.

fall carlisle is a great place to find items like that, hit the booths with the glass covered cases on the tables, i have seen dealer emblems in those type booths and some in like new condition, no to mention over the years seeing tons of Reedman emblems in junk yards, lol good luck with the hunt, jamie

John, no. When I was 17 in NJ, I used to skip school with my bud's and drive over to Reedman to look at the Corvettes. The lot was full of used Vette back in "69". As you know, I might get a ding from any NCRS judging if I put that on. Also my car was delivered in Detroit to Shalla Chevrolet. I just thought it might be nice to have one.

My brother worked at Reedman for a short time back in the 60's. After he left, he wanted to buy a brand new '66 big block convertible from them, but they wouldn't remove their emblem from the rear of the Corvette as he insisted. So they lost the sale. He bought it from another dealership (and still owns it to this day - with NO emblem!)

Yea, those emblems sure had a big footprint, not to mention the holes which had to be drilled to mount it.

Actually they are now Reedman/Toll, and they don't use the old emblems anymore.

Even though the name changed, they may have leads on where to find old memorabilia of theirs.........................
