For Sale: Glass T-Tops
***SOLD*** New lowered price: $600. I am selling the Glass T-Tops I got for a Corvette that I no longer own. It did not originally come with the Glass T-Tops, as these are aftermarket Glass T-Tops. The T-Tops are in great shape, the seals are in good condition and the tops only have a couple of very light scratches that you can barely see if you look at them just the right way. The black paint on the aluminum frame is also chipping in a couple of places and could stand to be touched up. A previous owner looks like he touched the paint up in a couple of spots. The scratches and the chipping paint are in the photos below.
From the research I have done, these Glass T-Tops were manufactured using PPG tempered glass which is more resilient than the laminated m-1131 glass and the mirrored finish on these tops offer a very original look, while helping to maintain a low heat level in the car. The tops are built to OEM specs, and the frames and hardware are built with GM components and the glass has been approved by the US Department of Transportation.
I am asking $600 plus shipping. I would also recommend insuring them for $1,100, that way if they are damaged in shipping, you could buy a brand new set with the insurance money. The T-Top bags are included. Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks!

I think you would have better luck putting them on craigslist so you don't have to ship them. OEM tops sell for $400-$500 around here. not sure what aftermarket replacements would sell for.
Just my opinion

if they are packed right they will make the trip. I got a set from New york shipped to me in idaho and they survived intact. foam insulation was part of the packing as well as being bubble wrapped. but your right they may not make the trip I was sweating pretty bad hoping they would make the ups trip.

Recently I shipped a single top from NY to the midwest, original box, plenty of bubble wrap, when it arrived it looked like it was hit with a sledge hammer. UPS refused to pay initially even though I had insurance. Had to file an appeal then got paid. Real bitvh to ship these things.
