1969 Muncie M21 Four Speed ($650)
For sale is a 1970 Muncie M21 four speed transmission. It has the desirable 661 casting case, along with a 584 tail housing, and 648 side cover. All are correct for a 1970 transmission. The transmission spins over smooth as glass, as well as bench shifts into all gears. I did not see any chipped/broken gear teeth, and the engagement teeth that the sliders engage show very minimal wear for a transmission that is 43 years old.
It's my feeling that this trans could be filled with gear oil and run in the car as is. As with any used part I can't offer any type of a warranty, just my opinion based on running ,and rebuilding, several of these four speeds.
I also have a brand new 27 spline yoke ,with U joint, that I will take $80 for.
