Are the kits year specfic or "one kit fits all" style?

I assume the foil side is installed "up"...so what does the other side look like?

They are body style specific so you need to let us know if you have a coupe or vert.

The material has foil on both sides.

Question. I understand you have foil on both sides. Got it. And you have insulation between the two. Great. Real nice CNC cutouts too. This all being said, insulation could be anything from dirt to fiberglass to shredded toilet paper to fish guts to roofing tar to butyl to rubber to air bubbles to...anyway, you get the idea.

What's yours made of?

Thanks!

Did this item change just recently? I purchased this kit on Oct 29th and mine doesn't have foil on both sides, just one. Same item number it appears, which is 6277.

For people asking about fitment, it is absolutely amazing. I figured I'd be glueing it into place, however the fitment was so good I didn't need to. It formed perfectly to the curves and stayed in place while I put the carpet in over it. I did have to trim where the deadner met the rear storage area, however a descent pair of scissors took care of it really easily. Overall it's probably the best fitting aftermarket interior part I've ever seen.

They changed the material to a single foil double insulation. It has shown better results at trapping the heat.

Glad you like the kit!

I actually bought the raw (uncut) form of this and made my own pieces. If I knew I could have got it pre-cut I would have, not hard to cut but let the pro's do it. Anyway it works great for heat. For sound I think it works but I have side pipes so they drown out most noise as it is.
