Fiero Seats - Feeler Post
My wife bought me a pair of Fiero seats for Christmas, I was planning on having them recovered and installed in my C3. Well that all changed, we are expecting our first child in the fall and I have to sell the car.
I am still torn on what to do, recover and install them before I put the car up for sale or sell the seats as they are on here.
The seats are still in the boxes, I would want $400.00 for them plus shipping if anyone is interested in buying them.
I feel recovered seats would help with the sale of the car, the wife, not so much.
Thoughts or offers for the seats?

Sell them as is, any money you put into them is money you have to hope you get back, it raises the price, and the potential buyer may not like the color you recover them in.

Thanks, I was just going recover them in black leather from Fiero Mikes but I understand the added cost of the seatcovers would be added to the selling price of the car.

If you are asking for thoughts, Id sell the Fiero seats seperately, as is, because this is an item only a certain group of people are interested in. I would not include them with the car for the same reason- many potential buyers would have no interest in non- Corvette seats and you would be giving them away. Let the new buyer make his own decision on seats/covers and that way you dont have to try to chase money already spent.

Not suggesting your trying to make money but I do believe her paying $400 for a set of used Fiero seats, she paid way to much! I think $200 would be on the high side if your lucky but that is just mho

IMO, You should sell the vette without the seats in it and sell the seats seperate. Also if you paid $400 for them and then pay more to have them recovered you would be taking a huge loss.
