FS: Tripower manifold, carbs, more carbs, MSD E-Curve and other parts
Converting my 496 BBC from Tripower to EFI so got a bunch of parts to sell. I have suggested prices up but will entertain reasonable offers.
1) Oval port tripower intake 3937795. Good condition. 10/21/68 cast date. Mildly ported to match my Edelbrock heads. $1800
2) Set of Corvette Tripower carbs. Two Holley 3659 end carbs, one dated 993, other one dated 873. One Holley 4056 center carb, dated 164. All carbs have been rebuilt but need new needle valves (used them on the other set of carbs) Comes with steel fuel line and linkage. Fitted with AN-6 inlet fittings and have AN-6 line for them as well. $350 per carb or $950 for all three
3) Set of Mopar mechanical secondary 6 pack carbs. Holley 4872/4873. Very rare. These will work on the Corvette with a few minor mods. Swap choke pulloff, fast idle cam and arm for Corvette parts (currently has Mopar parts installed so Corvette parts are back on other carbs, parts can be purchased from Chicago Carburetor individually), modify throttle cable bracket, notch air cleaner base for float screw on front carb, and 1/2" spacers so accelerator pump on front carb clears water neck. 350cfm center, 500 cfm end carbs. All carbs have accelerator pumps and metering blocks. This is the right way to have a mechanical secondary tripower setup. Also set up for AN-6 fuel line. $1200
4) 1/2" phenolic spacers $50
5) Notched air cleaner base $25
6) Assorted -6 AN fuel lines with filter $25
7) Modified throttle bracket and throttle cable$20
8) '74 big block fuel pump with AN-6 fitting $25
I can bundle all the above with the Mopar carbs for $100.
9) MSD E-Curve 8394 Distributor for SBC/BBC with extra cap and rotor. $385 new, selling for $250.
If someone wants everything, $3800 package deal.
