FS: MSD 6AL Ignition Box W/ Rev Limiter
I had this box in my '68 and worked flawlessly, has 700 miles on the unit. I coverted to a LS2 and now have no use for it. I noticed it really helped with initial start up, especially in colder temperatures and provided an overall smoother idle. You can change rev limiter by switching the white pill on the side of the box. It comes with a 7,000rpm pill but you can purchase whatever rpm pill you wish.

A few issues that I have encountered similar to yours were (1) Faulty connection at TI amplifier box ground wire at core support, or faulty TI amp box, some replacement TI box electronic replacement boards are not compatible with original TI pick up coils (2) Distributor pickup coil faulty or connected backwards (3) Remove ignition shielding around distributor and see if coil or plug wires are shorting to shield (4) Check for good engine and chassis grounds, and(5) Make sure your wiring inside the distributor is not chaffed and check ground at base plate.
