Taking a shot in the dark here, I am looking for a Vetteworks Shark Bar that fits a 1977.

I think vetteworks calls it a "series 1", if anyone has one for sale either used or never used please let me know.

I will be at Carlisle on Saturday for most of the day and could potentially pick it up there. I know vetteworks still sells these new but wanted to check here first.

I have a buddy who is removing his shark bar to put in a full roll bar setup. It's in a 82 corvette so you would need to find out if it fits your 77. The good thing is i see your from Reading, Pa. he's From Leesport, Pa. Probably a 15 min drive.

Quite the small world!

Unfortunately it looks like the shark bar from an 82 will only work on 78-82 vettes. The bar I need fits 74-77 per vetteworks website, in 78 the seatbelt mounts were changed and your friends bar will not work.

Sorry it took so long to get back, but i finally got a price. He said the bar is about a year old and he has 2 4-point cam lock harnesses that go with for $300 plus shipping. He also said he has 2 Corbeau racing seats if your interested for $500 (he would rather not ship those).

is the series II shark bar still avail? I have an 81 and Im looking for this - do you have a pic of the shark bar and its hardware, has it already been removed from the 82?
