Default 1979 tachometer needle needed

I'm looking for a source to purchase a tachometer needle for my 1979 corvette, L48. I will probably buy the speedometer needle to so they match. Any ideas who carries these type of parts? Wilcox only sells the speedometer needle and Ecklers speedometer/tachometer needle is only a speedometer needle. It doesn't fit the tachometer. Thanks!

I might have one. I'll have to check to make sure I didn't get rid of the tach and spedometer assembly's.

If you have the old needle, what you might consider is buying the speedo needle and changing out the press on head with a new needle. I'd have to take a visit down memory lane to make sure this can be done before I told you with certainty.. but then Christofer may have one for you too..

Doing this would be tough... I just looked at an original needle... it doesn't look like it would be easy.

I had no problem doing it.
With a razor knife I scraped at the edges of the plastic weld that went through the needle leaving the center of the "post" as intact as I could.
Swapped the new needle onto the hub and took a soldering iron to the center of the "post" melting it a bit kinda welding it together.
It helps to actually look at it to understand what I'm saying
