Default WTB 1970, 1971, 1972 Consumer Information Booklets

That's right... I need all three, but don't need to get them all from the same source!

Let me know what you have... Premium paid for excellent original copies.

Thanks!

I have a variety of 1971 Corvette information but I am not familiar with a consumer information booklet. Here is a post to the top for you while I go do some investigation into what this is and see what I can do to help you find one.

Thanks David!

These booklets are model specific so it isn't possible to find one from, say, a Nova... That's one of the reasons that they are tough to find.

Regards,

Stan

Kevin,

I would be willing to go up to $100 which is a bit ridiculous, but when you need something...

Jim (W., not C.) set me up with a free '72 booklet (thanks Jim!). The '71 was sourced locally for $40. Jim C. has one for $350 I believe... Way too much... Even for a nut case like me!

Still looking for a "keeper" '70 LT-1 convertible (my "must haves" make finding the right one difficult), but I'm in no rush. The right car will show up eventually.

Regards,

Stan

Hope you find one. I had been looking a LONG time for one priced within reason.

Last one on ebay went for over $300. I stopped at $180. I keep hoping a reasonable facsimile will be reproduced for some of us poorer folks

Wow, am I a sucker! I've bought several of these booklets for 250. -300 range......I guess the benefit was keeping the best condition booklets for my cars?

Bill,

As I posted above I've paid "stupid" money for them.......

What year booklet are you searching for?

If a revised booklet was produced, points (.05?) would probably be taken during interior judging.

Quick ebay search....http://www.ebay.com/itm/1974-ORIGINAL-1ST-EDITION-CORVETTE-CONSUMER-INFORMATION-GUIDE-MANUAL-/181572856514?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&hash=item2a4695eac2&vxp=mtr

1970-Typically the most difficult one to locate.

Stan,
My 70 original owner lost the paperwork during his divorce (or he told me that because his three strokes have affected his memory) I paid $125 for a very nice one about a year ago, and was happy to find it. (of course, we clergy persons are made out of money.) BTW, found them for 77 and 78 at Lakeland. Those aren't as tough a find, because there was one per car, and in 1970 there were many less cars!

Thanks for posting this... $350 is more than I'm willing to spend though. As I mentioned previously, I'd pay up to my budget of $100. If you are interested, let me know.

Stan
