I never really looked till last year. I took calipers off a ultra low mileage one owner 1980 Vette. The brakes were never touched prior. All the calipers had small Julian dates stamped on a machined area. I thought it was on the top, may have been on the side. All the codes were real close to each other. Sent them out to be sleeved and returned to the car. I assume many GM parts were dated.

Ken from Lonestar caliper (the owner) would disagree that calipers are dated
