Hope you don't mind but here are a few of the photos you sent me. The heads look fantastic, and if one of my trailing arms hadn't come apart on me I would own these. Thanks for the pictures Tony.

Just Beautiful, the heads alone, without the porting, I think would cost you more than you are asking, I had my Iron heads worked over last year on my 97 block with a Corvette roller cam, The added power is just great. Good Luck on your sale.

Pretty sure those are Pro Comp heads and the port work looks outstanding.

I had a pair of Pro Comps once, I say once! Mine were junk, but my father in law has a set for about 8 years now no problem. They are the best Chinese manufactured cylinder heads exported from China to Australia then imported to California from there. I paid 1000 for mine 8 years ago and they were not ported but were set up for a roller. So $1100 for a set of ported heads is pretty good price.

Yup the problem is usually with porous castings-sometimes they have to be filled and gone over again-doesn't look to be an issue with the OP's heads-All that porting would have revealed any porosity and even if there was some porous areas he filled them in successfully it seems.

The old pro comp elect were bad when they first were introduced, aluminum was soft and porous, very similar to the c4 aluminum heads gm put out in production, but after about 3 years they have improved on their casting. The ports were nothing fancy and just a copy of a standard chevy runner.
These are out of Australia, alittle different in their intake runner floor area, very similar to a pro filer/afr/rhs, but for the most part in the same category as pro comp. The quality is very good
So any fears of them failing would be the same as if they were any of the other aftermarket heads.
