FOR SALE: 1973 454 Quadrajet Carburetor Tuned by Lars
Hey guys, so I recently switched out intake/carb combo on my vette, and would like to sell the old quadra jet. I ran this on my stock 454 for about two years. Lars built it for me back then, and it was great for that application. I will upload pics of the paper he sent back with the details on the build soon. The numbers on the side say it is for a 454 on a 1973 model Chevrolet (7043200). I am asking $200 plus shipping, but feel free to make me an offer. Thanks!

That's a smokin' deal on a BB carb, for sure.
Just for clarification: I don't want people to think that the carb, as shown, is how I build carbs. The carb has been altered from the setup I provided: the pump rod has been moved to the outer lever hole, and the choke pulloff rod has been removed and incorrectly re-installed. These items are easy to correct, but the carb shown is not representative of my work.
I checked my records on this carb, and it's a great-running carb. Somebody ought to ****** this one up, as I believe it's worth more than twice the asking price...
