WANTED: I think a C3 rear end will fit in my C2
I have a 1964 coupe with 4.11 gears and I'd like to change out to a 3.23 or 3.36.
I THINK a C3 rear will bolt in to my C2. I'm looking for a rear end unit, gears inside the differential that does NOT beed rebuilt.... not a complete rearend.
I'm in central PA.
Thank you

C3 rears up to 1979 will bolt in. But find out what width spring it has as after 77 or so it went wider. Not too much a big deal as you can swap rear covers, or get the aftermarket one for like $100.
Or consider swap to OD trans? Figure a 0.7 OD ratio will make it your 4.11 a 2.87 rear for nice cruising!!

Thanks for the offer but I am looking for a 3.36......I don't think 4.11 to 3.70 will make the difference I want.
I drove a C2 with a 3.08 and it required clutch slippage to get it going on hills here in PA.
I think 3.36 is my best bet.
