While doing my frame-off restoration of my 78 L-82 I found that water had managed it's way into the transmission and corroded/pitted the slip yoke so I need a new one. Man are they hard to find. I finally got tired of looking and decided to go with a 1330 series slip yoke with a conversion u-joint as suggested by a driveshaft specialist I found on the web. After it arrived yesterday I'm reconsidering because it seems so much smaller and weaker looking than the 1330 series that came off of the car. Hopefully someone out there has one that is in good enough shape to use without any leakage.
