F/S 1972 350 7042202 Rochester Quadrajet Carb
I am selling a genuine factory installed 1972 Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor.
This is not a Carter manufactured pot metal Quadrajet prone to warping and stripped threads.
Carter Quadrajets are identified by their two digit date codes : C4 etc.
This carb is build broadcast code DJ with date code 2581 (258th day of 1971).
This translates to September 15 , 1971 which makes it correct for virtually all 1972 model year cars.
This carb appears in good shape - the throttle shafts are free, it doesn't look like it was ever dropped : no cracks or dings.
The levers are tight - haven't been knocked loose.
The carb is very clean and the castings are in nice condition.
Being sold as a correct rebuildable core.
Price is $200 plus postage.
