4 Speed overdrive MY6 trans swap, complete
These were a very rare Special Order only 4 speed overdrive only available in 1981-1986 Chevy GMC trucks ordered with option code MY6. (not a granny gear truck 4 speed). Almost identical ratios to a 700R4. Ratios are 1st-3.09 to 1, 2nd-1.67 to 1, 3rd-1 to 1, and 4th-.73 to 1. This has the Chevy bellhousing bolt up, and early Muncie, TH 350 yoke fits it. Direct bolt in, same length as Muncie, T10, ST10, Saginaw shifter in standard Chevy location. This is the New Process A833 used in the Hemi Cuda's in the early 70's. (indestructible behind a regular engine) modified to fit Chevy bolt pattern with an added overdrive. Very rare to find today in decent shape. I have the trans, Hurst shifter and linkage, bellhousing, pilot bushing, Flywheel, throwout bearing, clutch disc, pressure plate, clutch Z bar and rod, fork, spring for clutch return, shifter boot, the entire swap except pedals for your application and standard 26 spline slip yoke. 60 miles SW of Chicago, pulled side cover, looks absolutely perfect inside. shifts like butter. This is a working, complete unit and everything here can be used but it is a used part and sold as is. It will definitely need a sidecover gasket since I opened it for photos. Open to trades, High performance chevy parts. $1000 or best offer for everything.

This is a pretty nice unit. Gears are perfect and it shifts really smooth.
