Default Wtb 1968 chassis

i am restoring a 1968 L79 convertible to NCRS standards.
I will need a correct chassis.
Anybody have anything in USA?

I am located in tarpon springs florida.

Default chassis

my new to me chassis proir to restoration.
It is a date correct 1968 chassis for me restoration.

I did not think the 68 frame had the rear vertical supports on the up kick rails. Might be an early 69 frame like mine. My car build date is Oct,4 1968.

I think the consensus is that the supports were added in April of '68.

The 1968 corvette chassis had upkicks added around April 1968.

This Chassis is a May 1968 build and perfect for my July 1968 build.

What is funny is that this donor chassis came out of a 1968 convertible lemans blue with blue interior L79 four speed.
My car is a 1968 convertible lemans blue, blue interior L79 four speed.

These twins were so built so close together (May and July) that they very well could have crossed pathes at the GM plant during assembly! One coming in as parts while the other going out completed!

Wow that is about as close as you can get. Nice find. The frame did look like it was in great shape.
