Hello all, up for sale is a very nice set of 3919842 L88 corvette aluminum cylinder heads, date coded 12/67 and 05/68. The heads are fresh from Nelson Competition in Pinellas Park, FL with all new hardware, only the bare castings were re-used. The heads were disassembled, hand cleaned, tumble polished to a fantastic factory finish, surfaced, 2 exhaust bolt holes were repaired with quality heli-coils along with 2 valve cover bolt holes, all other threads seem to be in good condition. Brand new severe duty stainless steel Elgin valves were installed, along with Comp Cams valve springs (these springs are slightly stronger than stock so that either a stock cam can be utilized, or a larger aftermarket cam as well with no problems) (26112-16), Comp Cams tool steel retainers (1750-16), Comp Cams tool steel super valve locks (612-16), Comp Cams steel bodied Viton oil seals (514-16).
The heads do have some mild port and polishing done, but the work looks to be done at a high level. These heads are in really nice shape, are ready to be bolted on to an engine today! They are priced to sell, with no reserve, the high bid takes ‘em home! I have provided all of the information I have on the heads, but am more than happy to try and answer any other questions you may have.
