Thanks for responding. The compressor on the car is shorter compared to the one I've seen on line. It has a much larger circumference. The one I saw on line has a smaller circumference, but longer length. I believe its an R4???? Does this help?

I did checkout the part stores. They all carry the R6 compressor which is smaller yet longer. Not as bulky which I like. I'm worried because of the length the Lilly will not line up. I'm gonna buy the Damn thing. If it doesn't fit, return it. Thanks gents.

Are you going to switch over to R134? if so I think you have to rebuild with new seals.

I have this one. I was going to sell the entire a/c unit for the 77 that I have but I would consider selling just the compressor.
