J56 NOS Kelsey-Hayes Proportioning Valve FOR SALE
Up for sale is a 65-68 Kelsey Hayes J56 proportioning valve for L88/ZL1/ZR1 and other cars with this option independently added on RPO.
I only have one car with J56 and that already has one. This is in the box and has rubber plugs in inlet and outlet holes and condition suggest this part never has been installed. Part number on box is 1-3878944 $ 825.00 and buyer to pay shipping. Please contact via text or call.

Proportioning valve
Do you still have this NOS proportioning valve? I have been told it also fits 65-66 Mustangs with front disk brakes and some ford galaxies as well. Please tell me more.

J56
I don't have the valve in question but have another on my 1968 Corvette. I know that a similar one was fitted for the Mustang but think that the inlet and outlet diameters were different? I like Mustangs but my true interest are Corvettes and not the expensive furniture type but the Zora type, meaning purpose built performance cars. I may sale my other J56 Valve and factory mounting Bracket and special bent lines, but it will be for a price.

Old Pro Solo Guy
I had one of these installed on my 70 Z28 Pro-Solo car many years ago. Worked great!!!
With the sticky 11" track tires (DOT 0) the rear would lock way too early IIRC. By the time we got the front to just skid first, on concrete, I could practically throw the passenger thru the windshield! LOL
It was 1.29G IIRC on the brakes IIRC,.....been 20 years.... Special front pads, Hoosiers, and even rear drum brakes! (but with metallic shoes)
