Funny in that I just shipped my OLD OEM fixed column to 69427 yesterday.....he pay shipping only.....I put a '78+ TT column in my car some 20 years ago.....

Does the column need to be rebuilt? Does it have the typical play? I have that issue in my 71. It needs a new knuckle and they are not available.

Thanks for getting back to me. I went and looked on e-bay and found the knuckle. It's new old stock,$95.00, so I'm going to give that a try. I would really like to keep the 71 column. If it doesn't work I will be in touch.
