looking for black quarter trim (complete) for a 70 convertible. Anyone have any experience with the repro parts.

Mine is a 70 Convertible. Reproduction trim was horrible. I sold the reproduction parts and found some OEM parts.

They are the same through at least early 74. Then the hole for the shoulder harness belt became larger.

They are easy to redye as well. They can also be repaired if you find a set with the screws broken off in the inserts.

Be prepared to spend quite a bit for a nice set.

I agree with Bill. The textured surface is not the same as OEM.
