Mallory Electronic/Magnetic Breakerless tach drive distributor with vacuum advance for sale # 4264511. Bought this to use on an L-71 435 engine but won't work with the 3X2 manifold. The tach drive housing hits one of the intake runners and can't get enough swing to set timing. Fits on 4 barrel manifiold with no problems.

The distributor is new has not been run. Also includes 2 new unused Mallory coils, 30440 Promaster E-coil (this is an HEI style coil with mounting bracket) and 29219 can style coil which mounts in a conventional coil mount bracket. Have all documentation and wiring harness made to use the 29219 coil.

Sorry for the ignorant question, but is this an HEI distributor?

It's not as big in size as a GM HEI but it does throw one healthy spark. It does produce a spark in the 50-60 KV range.
