Default WTB: '69 big block fan shroud

Hi All,

I am looking for a good condition, genuine GM (ie not broken) fan shroud to suit a 427/390 car. Reasonable wear and tear is completely acceptable! Let me know if you have anything that fits the bill.

Best regards,
Matt.

I have a 3956119 taken from a 69 BB. I do know if it's GM or after-market. It has one small area of the edge that is damaged. I'll give it to you for $35 plus shipping.

Hi jnb5101,

That shroud looks excellent. Quick question: is it plastic, or fiberglass in construction?

My only real confounding factor with the fan shroud is that I live in Newcastle, Australia. Would you still be interested in selling if you had to ship it down under? If so, I don't even have a feel on the pricing to ship this way (I would think over $100, which I would be willing to pay).

I don't know how to describe the material. The area that's damaged doesn't have any evidence of glass threads, so I would best say it's plastic. I don't mind shipping it down-under (I saw your address), but it won't be cheap. PM your exact address and I'll get a shipping quote.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the response. It sounds like the shroud is made of plastic, which (to me) is a good thing. PM sent.

Best regards,
Matt.
