Anyone parting out a vette?
Not sure exactly what all I need as everything was removed. For my 77 I am trying to replace the spare tire tub and lid, I have picked up both those pieces from a fellow member here so now I am searching for the hardware to mount everything back. Again not really sure what all is missing but appreciate any and all help. Thanks

I know of a guy who recycles used Corvette parts and actually has good prices and a lot of knowledge about the cars and the parts. He's actually never let me down when I needed a part of an answer to a question. His name is Gary Gruhala. 636-586-3909.

Okay, they used an upper plastic liner between the tire and the inside of your car. They had two bolts in the rear that the rear of the tub mounted to and the tub hung from. They had one front bolt so the three bolts held the lower tub with tire in it up and then attached to the cross member in the rear, into a bracket mounted in the front of the tub. (Front meaning opening side). You can also get a lock that will help prevent theft of your spare once you have it mounted to your car. If you have the spare tub and lid you are well on your way, just need some bolts.
