WTB - seat belt warning harness and relay for manual
I'm doing an auto to manual conversion on my '73 and I'd like to have the seat belt warning system set up as it came from factory. I believe I need a short harness that runs from the connector under the console to the parking brake lever and the seat belt relay that connects into this same harness. Please let me know if you have the harness and relay.
Thanks,
Jim

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I think they are different. I checked a vendor web site and the harness appears to be list for 72-73 and the relay from 70-75.
Anyone else have the parts I need?
Thanks,
Jim

Jim, I have a complete under dash wiring harness from a 1973 4 speed car, and in looking at it this morning I see that the wires and relay you refer to are actually part of the main harness. I would be willing to sell the entire harness I have as a complete unit if you are interested in going that route.

Dave thanks for the note. We might be talking about a different harness. The one I need does plug into the main harness, but looking at my AIM and the vendor sites it appears to be a separate harness. Here is a link to the harness and the relay. http://www.parts123.com/corvettecent...50g&ukey=14148

If you have these two items, please let me know if you'd be willing to just sell them.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim--
A picture is always worth a thousand words, thanks for the link. I rechecked and do see the small harness you're looking for, but since this harness is complete, unmolested, and in very good shape, I'd rather not part it out. Heck, if this was a hacked harness I'd have given it to you for free. I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.
