FWIW: the 8-track became available in 1977. 8-tracks will not fit the stock 68-76 cluster bezels without cutting the bezels.

Thanks for clarifying.
How about the AM/FM stereo that is stock on the 70's?
Any idea of a good source for one of those?

Should. There are model year differences, but all the 68-76s units will swap and fit the center cluster.

Hi 70s,
I believe you'll find that for 70 model year cars there were 2 radio options… an Am/Fm radio and an Am/Fm Stereo radio.
Both used the same 2 speakers.
I'm not sure for which model year the Am/Fm Stereo became standard on cars.
Regards,
Alan

1979 for AM/FM mono. Stereo and tape type remained optional.
