Matching numbers 1974 LS4 (HP) 454 and Muncie 21
Very rare 1974 LS4 HP (high performance passenger), 454 long block with original bore, crankshaft, pistons and heads that came out of my Laguna S3 and matching fine spline (26 in 32 out) close ratio Muncie M21, this was the last year of the Muncie 4 speeds.
1974 was the last year of this combination with the Muncie M21 (close ratio) according to my research, the LS4 with fine spline Muncie was also of course used in the 1973/74 Corvette.
The engine was rebuilt at 58,000 miles and came out of a running car with less than 85,000 miles total miles and still has a clean cross hatch on the cylinder walls. Heads are stock that came from the factory with hardened valve seats (rocker arms are not included), includes stock timing cover, oil pan with stick, original harmonic damper and hardware. I don't have the original cam but I have a 540 lift Crower that was installed with the rebuild that I can include if interested.
