F/S: Used BeCool Rad for 68 BBC
For Sale: I have a used BeCool aluminum radiator that fits 66-68 Corvettes with the 427 big block Chevy motor. The radiator is p/n 60022, and is for a manual transmission application with no auto trans cooler. This radiator features 2 rows of 1" tubes for very good cooling. I used it in my race car for several years without issues. The radiator is a little cosmetically challenged as the black paint it was painted with (I bought it that way) has rubbed off in several areas. With a little elbow grease, the rad could look good as new. I had the radiator pressure checked at a competent radiator repair shop, and one tube at the top on the passenger side had a leak where it is welded to the end tank. The tech epoxied that tube (see pictures), and suggested that I get all four corners strengthened with epoxy as well. This is a common failure mode for BeCool radiators. I watched the repair, and the post repair leak check. The rad is now good, and was tested with 24 pounds pressure. I have packed the radiator carefully, and ship FedEx Ground/Home only to the lower 48 United States. $135 shipped in the lower 48 States. PM me with questions. Bump to the top from a long time ago ... I still have this radiator, hasn't been used since being repaired. Happy to take offers ... Might make a good unit for anyone with an engine run-in stand or the like ...
