Default *** WTB - 1968 Corvette 1/2 shaft ***

Hello all,

Looking to buy an OEM Corvette half shaft for a '68 Vette. 2-1/2" diameter. Must be a clean damage free example. No dents, gouges or pits.

Thanks in advance.

Hello George,

Hope all is well with you.

Really only need one - but if you have a matched pair that are in mint condition - I would consider buying both.

Purchased one online earlier this month - beautiful condition - arrived 3" diameter - arrrrrghh.

Hello Grant

Thanks for replying to my wanted to buy ad - much appreciated.

I am usually all over NOS parts - but this time around - I just want a good clean OEM used 1/2 shaft. To match the other side.

Well if you don't find one you'll like this one. no dings or marks or pitting.

How do you measure the 2.5 around or across?

Hello George - thanks for replying back.

I understand - we are all busy in our lives.

If you have a real nice one (damage free, no rust, dents or pits) with the flange - that would be great. I would change the u-joint anyways. Again - the nicest one you have.

Also - would you happen to have an OEM '68 rear deck (convertible) driver's side latch (GM 3942775). The spring broke on mine - top won't latch.

Let me know - thanks in advance.
