Default WTB: Headlight Ajar Switch

Looking for a good used headlight warning switch before going the vendor route. Any help locating one would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Dave

I thought I saw someone selling 3 or 4 entire headlight assemblies here. One of them looked like it still had a switch attached.
Find the post, maybe he will just sell the switch?

Hi Joe,

Many thanks for the tip! I must have missed those threads...old age and bad eyes I guess. I've contacted a couple of folks parting cars (with no luck) but now I can expand my hunt, and who knows, maybe lady luck will glance my way. Heck, even a squirrel gets a nut every now and then!

Joe, you are THE man! I sent him a PM. Funny, I actually need the alarm switch as well...mine is toast. My car doesn't have the anti-tamper set up (???) but the anti-tamper switch is the same as the headlight warning, which of course you know I already need.

Many, many THANKS again!! Keeping my fingers crossed on this one

Thanks for the reply Vettesic,

The switch I need is this one:

The one I purchased from another member came as part of an alarm kit and will be used as my alarm anti-tamper switch, so I can still use one headlight warning switch (pictured above). If the switch in the above picture is the switch you are referring to, then yes, I still need one. But if you mean the switch that mounts in the dash, then no...mine works AOK!
