This is an interesting search. So, where would this set of instructions have been located...in the air deflector plastic bags? I take these were included to guide the dealer with installation?

Couple years back watch my friend's friend buy the Judski 7 mile MSO Pace Car and talked quite a bit with the owner. Have kept in touch since but the car still had the spoiler in plastic in the back. Did not think about it later but after learning it was dealer installed, figured there must have been instructions. Actually, asked him to look and confirm and, if possible send a copy...but that was a couple of years ago.

Since the I wrote an article for the NCRS Restorer scheduled for publication early 2018, in time for 40th anniversary, about the final process of production for 1978 Pace Cars...this my interest.

I have the instructions as part of the extensive documentation of my L82 4 speed Pace Car, No. 4192. There is one page of written instructions, and a double sided page with diagrams. Each page is numbered at the top, "# of 4", and all the pages are stapled with two staples at the top. Interestingly, I have two page 2's and do not have page 1. However, the instructions look to be complete, so I believe that there were actually three pages, not four. The instructions start with step 1 and go through step 12. Steps 1-3 are for the central air deflector, and steps 4-12 are for the outboard air deflectors. I will try to scan and post later today.
