Free: 1972 Corvette Engine Guts
I know it sounds strange, and maybe it is strange, but I wanted to give the Corvette Community a chance to tell me "no thanks" before I take these parts to the recycle center for grinding.
These are the stock guts from my 1972 350 engine. I cannot determine if these will work well for you but if you can use some or all of these parts then I ask that you let me know so we can get them to you and keep them from heading to the recycle bin.
I will leave this posted for a week and if no takers, no problem, recycling they will go on April 1, 2017.
Interested, let me know.
Cheers to one and all.

Hey David.
Is the crank a forged one?
I assume its 2pc RMS.
Was the motor hooked up to a manual or automatic trans?
That info would certainly help someone to decide.
Very nice of you to share after getting hosed by "he who will not be named anymore".

This is a different engine. This one was an original 1972 CKX coded engine; 350/200 with automatic transmission. It contained a cast crank. Nobody hosed me on this engine. The 68 short block had the forge crank and that is going to be used once again on another build.
These appear to be have been the original and unmolested parts from the engine.
Thanks for asking Dennis.
