01' firebird belts? I haven't heard that before. Do they actually work?

Default seat belts 77

I replaced mine in my '75 about 4 years ago . Straight black you can buy very reasonable but I had to go Silver and total cost including all hardware, retractable etc. was I think about 300-350 bucks. Try Corvette America. Very happy.............

I need for my 73'. Ecklers has a set for $250. They do not look like the originals, but they are much cheaper and will keep you strapped in.

There is a junkyard that specializes in 4th generation firebirds, and they are very familiar with using them as a replacement belts for our vettes. You need the rears, they bolt right in. I don't have the number with me, but I'm sure someone will chime in. I got a very nice set for $100.

That's what I will be doing when I decide to replace mine. Plus the later model firebird belts have the locking mechanism in them in case you want to put a car seat for a little one in your shark. For me this is a sold item because I want to be able to cruise with my son and not worry about him flying in case god forbid something happens.

I'm in the process of putting in the firebird/camaro seat belts. Takes some slight modification, but it appears as though it will work fine when completed.

I have a set from a 93 Camaro in dark gray, which are almost black that I'd sell you cheap. They are the rears. The one push button release part has the plastic cover off of it though. Otherwise in nice shape, everything works an nd rust.
I'd take $30 plus shipping.
