I need a source for a rebuild kit or a rebuilder for B.B. water pump

I asume that you are trying to keep your numbers matching pump. Have you tried the local yellow pages? If you can't locate a rebuilder, there is a company here on Long Island that does an excellent job and uses your pump, If you don't have any luck , send me a PM and I'll get the name and # for you.

I had mine rebuilt as I wanted to retain the correct numbered pump and I think it was by a gentleman named Bill Mock if my memory is correct. I found him in Hemmings Motor News.

The other approach is to buy a rebuilt pump and use its parts to rebuild your original. You will need a press to do the job right. There really isn't much to a water pump....

Just guessing, but I would bet they are off-the-shelf bearings and seals.
The numbers should be right on them, and any good parts store
should be able to find a replacement.
