Got company for my C3 today :D
Just got myself a early birthday present (my birthday is on the 29th)...
It's a '98 Vert, 6-speed in just about flawless condition... Bought the car last evening in Georgia... Only got home 5 AM with my new baby
I love the looks of the car, but the fugly wagon wheels will have to go.. Sill have to decide if I'll go with polished Z06 or polished 2k wheels...
Here are the pics!!
(The light conditions were bad today.. Will take some better pics in a few days)

I think the chromed wagon-wheels are the best-looking wheels I've seen on C5s, plus they required less-maintainence (soap-and-water versus polishing) and would cost less (about $600/set), meaning more $$$$$ for the back-half job.
Either-way, congrats on the C5!!!!!

I actually already raced the car today.. Went to the Florida Corvette. The conditions were hot (86+ degrees) and very humid with 15 mph head wind.. My best was 13.68 @ 105.5 mph.. With better traction and cooler, less humid conditions, 12's should be easily possible...

Nice there Oliver. I happened to do the same thing. It is kind of nice having a 30+ advancement to my C3 as well. Wish you the best of luck with the car.

the N90 wheels on my '82 are already chromed, and I just put new 15" tires on them.....
Even if you'd GIVE them to me, it'd be several hundred more for tires, C5-wheel adapters, etc., money that I can put into my Z28 or my '80 Vette.
Which Vette will you race in the Florida Corvette Challenge Series ?????

Congrats "O" looks real nice.
One question....Why do keep saying "...if it's broken" referring to the C3. Shouldn't a bracket "race car" be reliable in order to win???

Happy birday, you got yourself a real nice gift. If i could afford a second vette it would be one just like yours. Will have to be black and converttible. I like to polished my cars. And for the wheels i agree GM put the worse wheel of there fleet on the vette.
