I've looked through my Assembly Manual but can't find a torque amount for the two 4 inch bolts that through bolt the transmission crossmember and the main frame. Same story for the four bolts that come up from the bottom.

Am not sure, but this "bolt-in" transmission crossmember may apply only to original 4 speed cars.

Anyone have any torque numbers? Ft/lbs? n/m?

I know for sure that the CHILTONS repair book has this torque specs.
The bolt in crossmember is for automatic cars .
Sorry, I'm at work and don't have the book handy now.
