Default Body Shims

I droped the body back on my 78 today and started shimming the body mounts to achive proper door gaps. I had to add 4 each .60 thou shims to the #1 mount to get a good door gap on left side with all mounts torqued. The right side gap is worse and will need more shims I suspect. My question is does this shimming seem excessive. The other mounts have no shims. Thanks Dave

I'm looking for a shop that can change my body mounts and fix whatever rust and cracked glass is there. Getting the body shimmed properly would be the next step as well as getting a 4 pt bar installed. Anyone know of such a place in Central Ca? TIA

Rick
