Getting the heat out???
The interior of my '71 never seems to be cool enough. I've got A/C which blows really cold (but not very hard).
I read somewhere that the vacuum operated hot-water shut off valve is marginal, and that it's better to completely bypass the the heater core (I live in San Diego so I don't need the heat!)
I also permanently closed the flapper door inside the plenum that lets outside air into the car. The car has new weatherstriping and there are no obvious holes anywhere in the car.
Are there any other tricks that I can do to help cool the inside of the car down?

Bob Chadwicks www is great; also go to "C3 Tech Tips" in this forum. See Eliminating Cockpit Heat in a C3, by Al Sindoni, dated Sept 23, 2003. Excellent tech article. All the fixes will keep you busy for awhile.
