negative coil wire on distr
i need to tap into the negative coil wire from the distr. there is a set of 3 wires and a set of 2 wires...... what set and possibly what color is it?

Go to the coil...(non HEI system)...look at the top...one side should have a + stamped or molded into the top and a - molded into the opposite side. Follow the - side ... that's the one I think you are looking for. The + side receives power from the switch and the - is the ground side. Good Luck ! I have been shocked by BOTH !
