Frame Differences Between Years?
Can somebody point me to a link that explains the differences in C3 frames from one year to the next? Or explain it to me?
The frame on my '73 has seen better days. I see different year frames for sale occasionally, and they usually say "can be used for 69-74" or some other range. I don't want to pick up a frame that is going to cause me headaches.
Also, what's the consensus on these aftermarket frame manufacturers... the ones that make original style replacements?
Thanks!

There are some other differences other than those in the link.
68 is an animal by itself. It has the new rear bumper attachments but retains the midyear front.
69-72 are basically the same.
I believe that 73 has different attachments in the front, if I remember right.
74 is different in the rear.
So if changing a frame on a 73, you would need to stick to a 69-73 frame in order to minimuize the problems. Others will require modifications.
